EFFECTIVE AUGUST 4th 2008 SAL
SHIPPING
If you choose SAL shipping we will no longer be responsible if the package goes missing or takes a long to time for service. Refunds will not be given as of 08/04/08. The reason is SAL has no tracking service and we are not able to track if customers are actually receiving the package or not.
We are doing everything we can to make sure the package has the correct address, telephone number and customs slips but if the package does not arrive we can no longer be responsible for the post offices ineffectiveness with slow service!! If you want a faster service then please choose EMS so we can both have piece of mind knowing it will get to you safe and quick.
Tsurishop-Japan does hold some stock, if the product you
purchased is not in stock we will order form our distributors resulting in
a few weeks delay in delivery.
All items purchased through Tsurishop-Japan will be shipped to you by either
the Japan Post Office Economy Airmail Service (SAL) or the Japan Post Office
Express Airmail Service (EMS) and insured accordingly. When placing your order
please specify which service you wish to use. Items sent by SAL should arrive
within one-two months to most destinations. Items sent by EMS should arrive
within three to seven days but is more expensive.

If you decide to choose EMS we will email you the tracking number so you can trace your product and the exact location of where it is.

All purchases from Tsurishop-Japan are final. If an incorrect product has been
sent to you in error, please do not open the product packaging. We will take
action to remedy the situation.
In Japan, some fishing products like reels and rods do provide a free 12 month warranty against faulty
workmanship and materials on most products. If you so require, we are able to
arrange a longer warranty period, in some cases of up to 5 years, at extra cost
to yourself. Should you find the product you purchased defective, please contact
us immediately with details so we can arrange a solution for you.
Should an order be lost or stolen in transit we will take appropriate action
through the EMS insurance program.
As a service to our customers Tsurishop-Japan will pay all EMS insurance
premiums on items, valued at ¥2million or less, sent from Japan. If you choose
SAL we will no longer be responsible for refunds or missing packages.
